I took some inspiration from this to paint “Chester”
I disagree. Not all art is suppose to challenge the norm or make a statement. Maybe it’s just aesthetically pleasing. Look at art history? wtj?! Mostly just aesthetics or religion that the artists may or may not have believed in. The Money chooses the art. Is art that challenges the norm important too? Yes, But it doesn’t buy more art supplies, and much less, it doesn’t buy food.
Unfortunately true. Don’t hate the artist, if you want different art, than fund it, or make it yourself.
